The brother in humble circumstances
비천한 환경가운데 있는 형제는
ought to take pride / in his high position.
자랑하십시오 / 자기의 높음을
But the one who is rich
그러나 부유한 형제는
should take pride / in his low position,
자랑하십시오 / 그의 낮아짐을
because he will pass away / like a wild flower.
이는 그가 사라질 것이기 때문입니다 / 들에 핀 꽃 같이
For the sun rises / with scorching heat / and withers the plant;
해는 뜹니다 / 뜨거운 열과 함께 / 그리고 풀을 시들게 합니다
its blossom falls / and its beauty is destroyed.
그 꽃은 떨어지며 / 그 아름다운 모습은 파괴됩니다
In the same way, / the rich man will fade away,
이와 같이, / 부자도 사라질 것입니다
even while he goes about his business.
자기 사업에 골몰하는 동안
Blessed is the man / who perseveres under trial,
복 있는 사람은 / 시험을 참고 견뎌냅니다.
Because when he has stood the test,
왜냐하면 그가 시험을 견뎌냈을 때
he will receive / the crown of life
그는 받을 것이기 때문입니다 / 생명의 면류관을
that God has promised
하나님께서 약속하신
to those who love him.
