산상수훈
You have heard
너희는 들었다
that it was said / to the people / long ago,
말해지는 것을 / 사람들에게 / 오래 전에
'Do not murder,
살인하지 마라
and anyone who murders
살인하는 사람은 누구든지
will be subject to judgment.'
심판을 받을 것이다
But I tell you
그러나 나는 너희에게 말하노니
that anyone who is angry / with his brother
누구든지 화를 내는 자는 / 형제에게
will be subject to judgment.
심판을 받을 것이다
Again, anyone who says / to his brother, / 'Raca,'
다시, 누구든지 말하는 자는 / 그의 형제에게 / ‘라가’라고
is answerable / to the Sanhedrin.
책임을 져야 한다 / 공회에서
But anyone who says, / 'You fool!'
누구든지 말하는 자는 / ‘바보’라고
will be in danger / of the fire of hell.
위험에 처해 질것이다 / 지옥 불의
"Therefore, if you are offering your gift / at the altar
"그러므로, 만약 네가 예물을 드리다가 / 제단에서
and there remember
거기서 기억난다면
that your brother has something against you,
너의 형제가 너에게 원한을 품고 있는 것을
leave your gift there / in front of the altar.
예물을 거기에 두어라 / 제단 앞에
First go / and be reconciled to your brother;
먼저 가서 / 너의 형제와 화해하라
then come / and offer your gift.
그런 다음 와서 / 너의 예물을 드려라
