Lesson 15 - 영어로 복음 전하기 - The Image of Christ

 

 

 

"The Image of Christ"

He is God, / the Bible says.

그는 하나님이시라고 / 성경은 말합니다

 

And the word was made flesh / and dwelt among us.
말씀이 육신으로 만들어져        / 우리 가운데 거하셨습니다

 

In other words, / the Logos, / the word of God, 

다른 말로 하자면, / 로고스,    / 하나님의 말씀,

 

the eternal God became flesh. 

영원하신 하나님께서 육신이 되셨습니다

 

He wasn’t just another revolutionary.

그분은 그저 또 다른 혁명가가 아니었습니다

 

He wasn’t just another hippy.

그분은 그저 또 다른 히피가 아니었습니다

 

He was not just another great man.

그분은 그저 또 다른 위대한 사람이 아니었습니다

 

He was God / in the flesh.

그분은 하나님이셨습니다 / 육신을 입으신

 

The Scripture says / that he judges the inside.

성경은 말하고 있습니다 / 그분은 내면을 심판하신다고

 

Jesus said, "Out of the heart / proceed / evil thoughts,

예수님은 말씀하셨습니다, / "마음으로부터 / 나온다 / 악한생각들과

 

and murders, and adulteries, and thefts, blasphemies.

살인, 간음, 도적질, 신성모독들이

 

He said, / "Moses said / that in the Ten Commandments

그분은 말씀하셨습니다, / 모세는 말하였다 / 십계명에서

 

Thou shall not commit adultery.

너희는 간음하지 말라고

 

But I tell you / that if you even look on a woman / to lust after

그러나 나는 너희에게 말하노니 / 여자를 바라보기만 해도 / 정욕을 품고

 

you’ve already committed it."

너희는 이미 간음을 저지른 것이다."
