Lesson 16 - 영어로 복음 전하기 - The Image of Christ
 

 

 

"The Image of Christ"

He said, / "Moses said / Thou shall not murder.

그분은 말씀하셨습니다, / "모세는 말하였다 / 너희는 간음하지 말라고

 

But I tell you / If you have hate / in your heart

그러나 나는 너희에게 말하노니 / 만약 미움을 가지고 있다면 / 네 마음속에

 

against your brother / without cause,

네 형제에 대하여       / 이유 없이

 

you are already guilty."

너는 이미 유죄인 것이다."

 

All the evil in the world / comes from the human heart.

세상의 모든 악은          / 인간의 마음으로부터 나옵니다.

 

That’s got to be changed.

그것은 변화되어져야만 합니다.

 

And that’s why Jesus said,

그것이 바로 예수님께서 말씀하셨던 이유입니다

 

"you must be born again."

"너는 거듭나야만 한다."

 

"You must be converted."

"너는 개종해야만 한다."

 

"You must have a new beginning."

"너는 새로운 시작을 해야만 한다."

 

I know one thing.

나는 한가지를 알고 있습니다.

 

He forgave sin.

그분은 죄를 사하셨습니다.

 

And no prophet ever did that.

어떤 선지자도 지금까지 그렇게 한적이 없습니다.

 

Jesus himself forgave sin.

예수님께서 직접 죄를 사하셨습니다.

 

I know / that he had authority / over nature.

나는 압니다 / 그분이 권세를 가지셨다는 것을 / 자연에 대한

 

One night / he was in a storm.

어느 날 밤 / 그분은 폭풍 속에 계셨습니다.

 

The lightning was flashing.
번개는 번쩍이고 있었습니다.

 

The thunder was roaring.

천둥이 우르릉 거리고 있었습니다.

 

The sea was raging.

바다는 성나있었습니다.

 

The wind was blowing.

바람은 불고 있었습니다.

 

The disciples were afraid.

제자들은 두려웠습니다.

 

And Jesus was asleep / in the boat.

예수님은 주무시고 계셨습니다 / 배에서.

 

And he stood up / in the boat

그분은 일어나셔서 / 배에서

 

and said, / "Peace. / Be still."

말씀하셨습니다, / "조용히 해라. / 가만 있어라."고

 

The lightning quit its flashing.

번개가 번쩍거림을 그쳤습니다.

 

And the thunder quit its roaring.

그리고 천둥이 우르릉거림을 그쳤습니다.

 

And the rain ceased to fall.

그리고 비가 내리기를 멈추었습니다.

 

And the wind quieted down.

그리고 바람이 잠잠해졌습니다.

 

And the sea quieted down.

그리고 바다가 잠잠해졌습니다.

 

And nature obeyed him.

그리고 자연이 그분께 복종했습니다.
