"The Image of Christ"

He had authority / over disease.

그분은 권세를 가지고 계셨습니다 / 질병에 대한

Jesus did make the blind see.

예수님은 장님을 보게 하셨습니다.

He made the deaf hear.

그분은 귀머거리를 듣게 하셨습니다

He made the dumb talk.

그분은 벙어리를 말하게 하셨습니다

He raised the dead.

그분은 죽은 자들을 일으키셨습니다.

He had authority / over demons.

그분은 권세를 가지셨습니다 / 귀신들에 대한

Jesus confronted demons / time after time.

예수님은 귀신들을 대적하셨습니다 / 몇 번이고

And he could cast them out.

그분은 그것들을 쫓아내실 수 있으셨습니다.

And people that were insane / under the powers of demons

정신이 나갔던 사람들이         / 귀신의 힘에 눌려

would regain their sanity.

그들의 제정신을 회복하곤 했습니다.

And then look at the death / he died.

그럼 죽음을 보세요           / 그분께서 죽으셨던

Did ever a man die / like Jesus?

지금까지 죽은 사람이 있었나요 / 예수님처럼?

The lightning flashed.

번개는 번쩍거렸습니다.

And the thunder roared.

천둥은 우르릉거렸습니다.

And the earth began to shake.

땅은 흔들리기 시작했습니다.

And even the soldiers confessed

심지어 병사들 조차도 고백했습니다

that this must be the son of God.

이분은 틀림없이 하나님의 아들이라고

They first took off his clothes.

그들은 먼저 그분의 옷을 벗겼습니다.

Then they took long leather thongs

그런 다음 그들은 긴 가죽 끈을 집어 들고

with steel pallets / or lead pallets / on the end

강철 발톱이나      / 납 발톱이 달린  / 끝에

and beat him / across the back / until he could hardly stand up.

때렸습니다    / 온 등을         / 그분이 거의 일어서실 수 없을 때까지
