44)Philip was from Bethsaida,

빌립은 벳새다 출신이었다

 

the town where Andrew and Peter lived.

안드레와 베드로가 살았던 마을인

 

45)Philip found Nathanael.

빌립은 나다나엘을 발견했다.

 

"We have found the one

우리는 그 사람을 발견했다

 

whom Moses wrote about

모세가 기록한

 

in the Book of the Law

율법 책에

 

and whom the prophets also wrote about.

또한 선지자들이 기록한

 

He is Jesus son of Joseph, / from Nazareth."

그 분은 요셉의 아들 예수시다, / 나사렛 출신의

 

46)"Can anything good come / from Nazareth?"

어떤 선한 것이 나올 수 있느냐 / 나사렛으로부터

 

"Come and see."

와서 보라

 

47)When Jesus saw / Nathanael coming / to him,

예수님께서 보셨을 때 / 나다나엘이 오는 것을 / 자기에게

 

he said about him,

그 분께서는 그에 관해 말씀하셨다.

 

"Here is a real Israelite;

여기에 참 이스라엘 사람이 있구나

 

there is nothing false / in him!"

거짓이 전혀 없도다     / 그에게는

Twenty two years ago 

22년 전

 

I was here in Korea.

저는 여기에 한국에 있었습니다.

 

It was a Christmas time

그때가 크리스마스 때였고

 

and it was very cold.

날씨가 아주 추웠습니다.

 

I've never been so cold / in all my life.

저는 그렇게 추웠던 적이 결코 없었습니다 / 제 평생에

 

And I toured along / what is now the DMZ.

저는 순회했었습니다 / 지금의 DMZ를

 

I was at Heartbreak ridge.

저는 애통의 능선에 있었습니다.

 

And on Heartbreak ridge

애통의 능선 위에는

 

there were twelve soldiers.

12명의 병사들이 있었습니다.

 

They were American soldiers,

그들은 미군 병사들이었는데

 

huddled together.

모여서 웅크리고 있었습니다

 

An enemy sneaked through the line.

적군 하나가 경계선을 뚫고 몰래 들어왔습니다.
