"요한복음 1:35-39 Good News Bible"

 

35) The next day / John was standing / there again

다음 날           / 요한은 서 있었다     / 다시 그곳에

 

with two of his disciples,

그의 제자 두 사람과 함께

 

36) when he saw / Jesus walking by.

그가 보았을 때   / 예수님께서 지나 가시는 것을

 

"There is the Lamb of God!"

"저기 하나님의 어린양이 계신다!"

 

37) The two disciples heard him say this                  

그 제자 두 사람은 그가 이렇게 말하는 것을 들었다

 

and went with Jesus.

그리고 예수님과 함께 갔다.

 

38) Jesus turned, / saw them following him.

예수님께서 몸을 돌려, / 그들이 자기를 따라 오는 것을 보셨다.

 

"What are you looking for?"

"무엇을 찾느냐?"

 

"Where do you live, Rabbi?"

사시는 곳이 어디입니까, 랍비님?

(This word means “Teacher.”)

(이 말은 “선생”이라는 의미이다)

 

39) "Come and see."

"와서 보라."

 

(It was then about four o’clock in the afternoon.)

(그때는 오후 4시쯤이었다.)

 

So they went with him

그래서 그들은 그 분과 함께 갔다

 

and saw where he lived,

그리고 그 분이 사시는 것을 보았으며,

 

and spent the rest of that day / with him.

그 날의 나머지를 보냈다         / 그분과 함께

.

Finally, / number four.

마지막으로, / 네 번째

 

The line of the pull of the world.

세상 만류의 경계선

 

You’ve got to be willing / to cross the line of the unknown,

당신은 기꺼이 해야만 합니다 / 미지의 경계선을 넘는 것을

 

the line of the impossible,

불가능의 경계선을

 

the line of positive affirmation.

긍정적 지지의 경계선을

 

Number four.

네 번째

 

The line of the pull of the world.

세상 만류의 경계선

 

The moment / you are willing, / watch, / to cross that line

그 순간      / 당신이 기꺼이,    / 보세요, / 그 경계선을 넘어서려는

 

and be a line crosser,

그리고 경계를 넘는 사람이 되는

 

everybody will want to pull you back.

모든 사람은 당신을 잡아 당기길 원할 것입니다.

 

Why? / You stand out. 

왜?   / 당신은 눈에 띄기 때문입니다.

 

Especially in Singapore.

특별히 싱가포르에서

 

"If we are not successful,

"우리가 성공하지 못하는데

 

how dare you be successful?"

어떻게 감히 당신이 성공할 수 있지?"

 

"If we don’t have this,

"우리가 이것을 가지지 못하는데,

 

how dare you have that?"

당신이 어떻게 감히 그것을 가져?"

 

The moment / you are willing to cross that line,

그 순간      / 당신이 기꺼이 그 경계선을 넘어서려는

 

everyone will want to pull you back.

모두가 여러분들을 잡아당기기 원할 것입니다.
