사자들이           / 보내졌던            / 바리새인들에 의해

 

25) then asked John:

그때 요한에게 물었다:

 

"If you are not the Messiah, / nor Elijah / nor the Prophet,

“약 네가 메시아도 아니고  / 엘리야도 아니며 / 그 예언자도 아니라면

 

why do you baptize?"

어째서 너는 세례를 주느냐?”

 

26) “I baptize with water.

“나는 물로 세례를 준다.

 

But among you / stands the one / you do not know.

하지만 너희 가운데 / 한 분이 서 계신다 / 너희들이 알지 못하는

 

27) He is coming after me, / but I am not good enough

그 분은 내 뒤에 오시지만 / 나는 충분한 자격이 없다

 

even to untie his sandals.“

You must be willing to step / beyond the line of the impossible.

당신은 기꺼이 발을 내디뎌야 합니다 / 불가능의 경계선 너머로

 

The line of the impossible.

불가능의 경계선

 

Three worst phrases / that I hate most / in my life are

세 가지 최악의 어구들 / 내가 가장 싫어하는 / 내 인생에서

 

‘impossible’, / ‘difficult’, / ‘cannot be done’.

‘불가능하다’, / ‘어렵다’,     / ‘이루어질 리가 없다.’ 입니다.

 

I believe all / things are possible.

나는 믿습니다 / 모든 것이 가능하다고

 

I believe / that if God put faith in your heart,

나는 믿습니다 / 만약 하나님이 당신의 가슴에 믿음을 주시고

 

and you can believe in God,

당신이 하나님을 믿는다면

 

nothing is impossible for you.

당신에게 불가능은 없습니다.

 

Nothing will be difficult for you.
