34)"Sir, / give us this bread always."

"선생님, / 이 빵을 항상 우리에게 주소서"

 

35)"I am the bread of life,"

"내가 그 생명의 빵이니라,"

 

"Those who come to me / will never be hungry;

"내게 오는 자들은           / 결코 배고프지 않을 것이며;

 

those who believe in me / will never be thirsty.

나를 믿는 자들은            / 결코 목마르지 않을 것이다

 

36)Now, / I told you / that you have seen me

자, / 나는 너희에게 말하였다 / 너희는 나를 보았다

 

but will not believe.

하지만 믿지 않을 것이라고

 

37)Everyone whom my Father gives me / will come to me. 

나의 아버지께서 내게 주시는 사람은 다         / 내게로 올 것이다

 

I will never turn away / anyone who comes to me,

나는 결코 돌려보내지 않을 것이다 / 누구든지 내게 오는 자는

 

38)because I have come down / from heaven

내가 내려왔기 때문이다             / 하늘로부터

 

to do not my own will / but the will of him who sent me.

나의 뜻을 행하기 위해서가 아니라 / 나를 보내신 그분의 뜻을 행하기 위해

 

39)And it is the will of him / who sent me

그분의 뜻이다                  / 나를 보내신

 

that I should not lose any of all those / he has given me,

내가 모든 자들 중 어느 누구도 잃지 않고     / 그분께서 내게 주신

 

but that I should raise them all to life / on the last day.

그들 모두를 일으켜 살려야 한다는 것이       / 마지막 날에

Shall we pray?

기도하실까요?

 

Our Father, / we thank thee / for this love of God

우리 아버지,  / 우리는 당신께 감사 드립니다 / 하나님의 이 사랑에

 

that reaches around the world / and engulfs all of mankind.

온 세계에 두루 미치고              / 온 인류를 삼키는

 

Thou doest love / the Russians, the Chinese

당신은 사랑하십니다 / 러시아인, 중국인을

 

as much as thou doest love / the British or the Americans or the African.

당신이 사랑하시는 것만큼   / 영국인, 미국인, 아프리카인을

 

Thou doest love the whole world.

당신은 온 세상을 사랑하십니다

 

And Thou didst send thy son / to die / for the whole world.

당신은 당신의 아들을 보내셨습니다 / 죽도록 / 온 세상을 위해

 

And we are all included / in thy redemption plan.

우리 모두는 포함되어 있습니다 / 당신의 구원 계획에

 

And we thank thee / that at this hour of history,

우리는 당신께 감사 드립니다 / 이 역사적인 시간에,

 

we can stand / and proclaim good news / that God is love,

우리가 서서    / 복음을 선포할 수 있는 것에 대해 / 하나님은 사랑이시며,

 

and that God is willing to forgive.

하나님은 기꺼이 용서하신다는

 

We pray / that many this day will receive that message,

우리는 기도합니다 / 오늘 많은 이들이 그 메시지를 받아들이고,

 

accept it, / and act on it, / and live by it.

그것을 수용하고, / 그것에 따라 행동을 하고, / 그것에 의해 살도록

 

For we ask it / in his name, Amen.

그것을 간구함으로써 / 그분의 이름으로, 아멘 를
