45)The prophets wrote, / ‘Everyone will be taught / by God.’

선지자들은 기록했다, / ‘모든 사람이 가르침을 받을 것이다 / 하나님에 의해’

 

Anyone who hears the Father / and learns from him / comes to me.

아버지께 듣고     / 그분께 배운 사람은 누구든지      / 내게로 오느니라

 

46)This does not mean / that anyone has seen the Father;

이것은 뜻하는 게 아니다 / 누가 아버지를 보았다는 것을;

 

he who is from God / is the only one / who has seen the Father.

하나님으로부터 온 그가 / 유일한 사람이다 / 아버지를 본

 

47)I am telling you the truth:

내가 너희에게 진실을 말하노라:

 

he who believes / has eternal life.

믿는 그는         / 영생을 가졌느니라

 

48)I am the bread of life.

나는 생명의 빵이니라

 

49)Your ancestors ate manna / in the desert, / but they died.

너희 조상들은 만나를 먹었다    / 광야에서,   /그러나 그들은 죽었다

 

50)But the bread that comes down from heaven

하늘에서 내려온 빵은

 

is of such a kind / that whoever eats it / will not die.

그러한 유의 것이다 / 그것을 먹는 사람은 누구든지 / 죽지 않는

 

51)I am the living bread / that came down from heaven.

나는 살아있는 빵이다      / 하늘에서 내려온

 

If you eat this bread, / you will live forever.

만약 너희가 이 빵을 먹는다면, / 너희는 영원히 살 것이다

The queen of the south shall rise up / in the judgment

남방여왕이 일어날 것이다               / 심판 때에

 

with the men of this generation, / and condemn them:

이 세대 사람들과 함께,             / 그들을 정죄할 것이다:

 

for she came / from the utmost parts of the earth

이는 그녀가 왔기 때문이다 / 땅끝 지역들로부터

 

to hear the wisdom of Solomon; / and, behold,

솔로몬의 지혜를 듣기 위하여;       / 그러면 보아라,

 

a greater than Solomon is here."

솔로몬보다 더 큰 이가 여기 있다

 

The men of Nineveh shall rise up / in the judgment

니느웨 사람들이 일어날 것이다       / 심판 때에

 

with this generation, / and shall condemn it:

이 세대와 함께,        / 그리고 그것을 정죄할 것이다:

 

for they repented / at the preaching of Jonah; / and, behold,

이는 그들이 회개하였음이라 / 요나의 설교를 듣고; / 그러면 보아라,

 

a greater than Jonah is here."

요나 보다 더 큰이가 여기 있다"
