"요한복음 6:51-6:54 Good News Bible"

 

 

51) The bread that I will give you / is my flesh,

내가 너희에게 줄 빵은          / 나의 살이니라

 

which I give / so that the world may live."

내가 주는    / 세상이 살도록 하려고

 

52)This started an angry argument / among them.

이것은 성난 논쟁을 일으켰다           / 그들 사이에

 

“How can this man give us / his flesh to eat?”

"어떻게 이 사람이 줄 수 있겠는가 / 그의 살을 먹으라고?"

 

53)“I am telling you the truth:

"내가 너희에게 진실을 말하노니:

 

if you do not eat / the flesh of the Son of Man / and drink his blood,

만약 너희가 먹지 않는다면 / 인자의 살을 / 그리고 그의 피를 마시지 아니하면

 

you will not have life / in yourselves.

너희는 생명을 가질 수 없을 것이다 / 너희 안에

 

54)Those who eat my flesh / and drink my blood / have eternal life,

나의 살을 먹고         / 나의 피를 마시는 자들은 / 영생을 가지나니

 

and I will raise them to life / on the last day.

나는 그들을 일으켜 살릴 것이다 / 마지막 날에

Now Ancient Israel wanted Jesus / to do something sensational,

자 옛 이스라엘 사람들은 예수님을 원했습니다 / 뭔가 센세이셔널 한 것을

 

to prove / that he was really the son of God.

증명하기 위해 / 자신이 정말로 하나님의 아들임을

 

But Jesus is saying / in this passage,

그러나 예수님은 말씀하시고 계십니다 / 이 구절에서,

 

"You are seeking for a sign.

"너희는 표적을 구하고 있다

 

All right. / I will give you a sign.

좋다      / 내가 너희에게 표적을 주겠다

 

I am the sign."

내가 그 표적이다"

 

And Jesus was saying / that the people of Jonah’s day

예수님은 말씀하고 계셨습니다 / 요나 시대의 사람들은

 

listened to the message of God / and repented.

하나님의 메시지를 듣고         / 회개하였다고

 

And they are going to rise up / at the judgment / as witnesses

그들은 일어날 것이라고          / 심판 때          / 증인들로

 

against the people of Jesus’ day / that rejected him.

예수님 시대의 사람들에 대해 적대하는 / 그분을 거부했던
