55)For my flesh is the real food;

이는 내 살은 참된 양식이요;

 

my blood is the real drink.

내 피는 참된 음료이기 때문이다

 

56)Those who eat my flesh / and drink my blood

내 살을 먹고                 / 내 피를 마시는 자들은

 

live in me,   / and I live in them.

내 안에 살고, / 나도 그들 안에 사느니라.

 

57)The living Father sent me,

살아계신 아버지께서 나를 보내셨고

 

and because of him / I live also.

그분으로 인해        / 나도 또한 사느니라

 

In the same way / whoever eats me will live / because of me.

마찬가지로       / 누구든지 나를 먹는 자들은 살 것이다 / 나로 인해

He said / that the queen of the south

그분은 말씀하셨다 / 남방의 여왕이

 

recognized the wisdom of Solomon.

솔로몬의 지혜를 알아보았다고

 

But he said, / “In me, / I have a greater wisdom

하지만 그분은 말씀하셨습니다, / “내 안에 / 나는 더 큰 지혜를 가지고 있다

 

than all the wisdom of Solomon.

솔로몬의 모든 지혜보다

 

He said, / "you are blind."

그분은 말씀하셨습니다, / “너희는 장님이다”

 

"You cannot see the truth."

“너희는 진리를 볼 수 없다”

 

"You are deaf."

“너희는 귀머거리다”

 

"And you cannot hear the truth."

“너희는 진리를 볼 수 없다”

 

He said, / "I am the truth."

그분은 말씀하셨습니다, / “나는 진리이다”

 

"I am the light of the world."

“나는 세상의 빛이다”

 

"I am the sign."

“나는 표적이다”

 

Now when you face Jesus, / what is your reaction?

자 여러분이 예수님을 대면할 때, / 당신의 반응은 무엇입니까?

 

When you are confronted with Jesus Christ,

여러분이 예수님과 직면할 때

 

what is your reaction?

여러분의 반응은 무엇입니까?

 

The reaction of the scribes and the Pharisees/ was one of hostility.

서기관과 바리새인의 반응은               / 적대감중의 하나였습니다

 

The people of Nineveh’s day / were humbled and repented

니느웨 시대의 사람들은         / 겸비하여 회개했습니다

 

when they faced and confronted God.

그들이 하나님을 대면하고 직면했을 때
