65) "This is the very reason / I told you

이것이 바로 그 이유이다       / 내가 너희에게 말했던

 

that no people can come to me

아무도 내게 올 수 없다고

 

unless the Father makes it possible / for them to do so."

아버지께서 가능케 하지 아니하시면      / 그들이 그렇게 하는 것을"

 

66)Because of this, / many of Jesus’ followers turned back

이로 인해,            / 예수님의 추종자들 중 많은 수가 되돌아갔고

 

and would not go with him / any more.

그분과 함께 다니려 하지 않았다 / 더 이상

 

67)"And you / ? would you also like to leave?"

"그리고 너-  / 너희도 떠나고 싶으냐?"

 

68)"Lord, / to whom would we go?

"주님,    / 누구에게로 / 우리가 가겠습니까?

 

You have the words / that give eternal life.

당신께는 말씀이 있습니다 / 영생을 주는

 

69)And now we believe / and know

이제 우리는 믿고         / 압니다

 

that you are the Holy One / who has come from God."

당신이 거룩한 분이심을      / 하나님께로부터 오신

"The Image of Christ"

You know actually / we don’t know / what he looked like.

사실 여러분도 아시다시피 / 우리는 모릅니다 / 그분이 어떻게 생겼었는지

 

We don’t know / whether he had long beard or not.

우리는 모릅니다 / 그분이 긴 턱수염을 가지고 있었는지 아닌지

 

Those are just pictures / that artist painted.

그것들은 그저 그림들일 뿐입니다 / 화가들이 그려 놓은

 

We think / he did.

우리는 생각합니다 / 그분이 그랬을 것이라고

 

We don’t know / whether he had long hair or not.

우리는 모릅니다 / 그분이 긴 머리를 하고 있었는지 아닌지

 

He probably did

그분은 아마도 그랬을 것입니다

 

because the people of that day, / that was the style.

왜냐하면 그 당시의 사람들은, / 그것이 스타일이었기 때문입니다

 

But we don’t know.

하지만 우리는 알 수 없습니다

 

We don’t have a picture of Jesus.

우리는 예수님의 사진이 없습니다

 

And God did that / purposely

그리고 하나님은 그렇게 하셨습니다 / 의도적으로

 

so that we would not be worshiping an image.

우리가 모습을 경배하지 않도록

 

Because God is a spirit / and must be worshiped / in spirit.

왜냐하면 하나님은 영이시며 / 경배 받으셔야 하기 때문입니다 / 영적으로

 

And then there were people / that said

사람들이 있었습니다   / 말하는

 

that he was deliberately evil,

그분은 의도적으로 악했다고,

 

that he was an evil man,

그분은 악인이었다고,

 

that he was a devil.

그분은 악마였다고
